“Timing is everything, in education as in many other fields. It’s not enough to teach well. You have to teach well to kids who are ready to learn, kids who are developmentally ‘ripe’ for learning.”

BTT: Treat

What is the best book you ever bought for yourself?
And, why? What made it the best? What made it so special?

One of the more recent books I bought for myself was "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer. I don't buy brand new books for myself very often, usually if I buy a book it is at the library sales. I had to get this book when it came out though! I actually went and got it at the midnight release (I did wait until about 12:30, so I wasn't there for all the craziness). I was so excited to get the book and start reading it. I read as often as I could for the next three days. It was just fun because there was so much anticipation, and speculation about what would happen with the characters, so it was really excited to get the book and open it up!

Oh, how lucky, you got to go to a midnight release for Breaking Dawn! I only wish I had the chance :)
