BTT: Time to Read

1. Do you get to read as much as you WANT to read?

2. If you had (magically) more time to read–what would you read? Something educational? Classic? Comfort Reading? Escapism? Magazines?

I actually do have enough time to read. I have two little kids, who play most of the day. I usually will read if they are distracted playing together, or after they go to bed. Most of the time that is enough reading to satisfy me each day. There have been a few times that I've been so engrossed in a book that I've read almost all day long, but then I feel bad because I didn't spend as much time with the boys. So I try not to do that too often.

I like to mix things up, because I get tired of reading the same type of thing, especially if I have a lot of time to read. I love my comfort reading, which is usually christian fiction - very easy and quick to read. I always know it will take my mind off things for a while, and it can be inspiring. However, I also enjoy to read scriptures, church related books and material, educational things, books about homeschooling, and a magazine every now and then. I love classics also, but they usually take me longer to read and sometimes it is hard for me to focus on them for a long period of time, so I will read a classic at night time, and something else during the day.
